It’s a legal requirement to have a tread depth of 1.6mm in a continuous band around three-quarters of each tyre, so keep an eye on them and come and see us if they need replacing.
We stock a range of Nexen Tyres and have the ability to supply leading brands, such as Goodyear, Dunlop, Pirelli, Bridgestone, Continental and Michelin, that suit all budgets. However, if there is a specific tyre manufacturer you would like to use, let us know and we’ll be happy to put them on your vehicle. If we don’t have your tyre preference in stock, we’ll order them and, generally, they’ll be delivered the same day.
Our expert technicians will talk through the best tyres for your vehicle or budget and, as it’s a quick job, they’ll put them on while you wait. Looking after your tyres will help them last, so our technicians will also give you great advice about what you can do to take care of them.
It’s important to check your wheels are correctly positioned as this will enable your tyres to wear at an even rate and, if they aren’t quite in line, the handling and subsequent safety of your vehicle could be jeopardised.
If you’ve noticed your vehicle is pulling to one side or you’re having trouble steering, it may mean your wheel alignment (also known as tracking) is slightly out – simply hitting a kerb or driving over a pothole or speed bump too fast can cause your wheels to go out of sync.
